Giving back in the un-imaginable

This past March my daughter and I were humbled in ways I could never imagine. We decided in December to join a mission team from her school for 11 days in Africa, Uganda and Kenya specifically. Repairing/installing wells and teaching teen girls about self defense and sustainable hygiene products during their periods were the main mission. Helping girls to stay in school during their periods for the typical missed 84 days is a critical component to their success.

It was amazing. It was sad. And it was definitely sobering. To see some of the sweetest, joy filled people I have ever met, struggle every single day just to eat and have clean water is something we will never forget. We have heard it said, “there are starving kids in Africa” is not only true, but there are adults and elderly people literally getting one meal a day.

If you ever have a tugging in your heart to do something financial, it only takes $500 a well for them to be repaired. Checks can be made out to Run 4 Water at Friendship Christian School.

Fall is here!

It’s been a busy year! We have added several new agents with specialties in different areas, bringing our work family total to 16. Allen Shehane, Jessica Smith, and Gary Cooper were 3 that joined us this past spring and summer. It’s all about quality here at Capital, so being a big firm is not who we are. It’s kind of like comparing us to the local boutique rather than Wal-Mart. We are here to help you find the property you want, sell the one you don’t want, and get it done the best way possible, which means less stress for you. Give us a call! 615-547-6797

Home Buying Info Socials!

Come to one of Lebanon’s favorite farmhouses and enjoy an evening of asking any and all questions related to becoming a homeowner. Bring a friend, have a drink and an appetizer, and ask away!  Starting April 17, we will be hosting these the 3rd Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:00. Please RSVP to 615-804-8987 as we are limiting each event to 20.

Welcome to the New CapitalGivesBack.com!

Welcome! We’ve had lots of great changes this year. A new (100 year old!) location, a new website, and 4 new agents! If you haven’t had a chance to stop and see our new office, please do! In the world of tearing down old things to bring in the new, we just love our old house that’s oozing charm and character, while serving our clients in the most comfortable environment ever.

Back to the website: One of the biggest new components to our website is our custom search engine that brings the accuracy of RealTracs data with the design and ease of use found at real estate sites like Zillow. Give it a whirl and let us know what you think!

While we’ve done a big upgrade on our look and online infrastructure, there are some things that we will never change. We’re never going to stop helping our clients get the most they can for their property. (Ask to see our comps compared to other companies and see why our FB hashtag is #neighborhoodcompsjustwentup!) We’re never going to stop helping our clients who are purchasing save more money than they do elsewhere. We are excellent negotiators and pride ourselves on the details that make a difference.

Likewise, Capital Real Estate Services is never going to stop giving back to our community. Capital gives back because we love where we live and we want to see it continue to thrive. We’ve created a page where we’ll continually update the places we’re serving in the community.

We’ve been exceeding expectations since the day we opened and we’ve got the data to prove that our clients end up better from having worked with Capital. We’d welcome the opportunity to exceed your expectations someday too.
